Absolutely our favourite place in the area. Friendly people, down to earth cafe. Steam engines as well. Been going for over 25 years now.
Lovely place was busy today so never stopped longer. Peaceful and just nice place too visit.
Fantastic fun for the family. Food on site, right next to the platform. Little gift shop for souvenirs too. Trains ran frequently when we visited on a Sunday with friendly helpful staff too. Definitely recommend
Some extremely helpful staff in the coffee and food shop, however some volunteers need to remember manners. If you continue to be rude, upsetting the visitors then there will not be the need for so many valued volunteers. I thought this was an isolated incident however have heard otherwise from cyclists that use the food facilities every weekend. The two stars are for the team serving and preparing food this part is fantastic.
Amazing little cafe here with great staff that get to know people by their names! Attended a 70th birthday celebration here and it was great. The food was amazing and the people too. Would highly recommend any day of the week for breakfast and lunch.
