When I arrived there was a very old and disoriented gent who answered the door, he didnt understand what we were asking but managed to say that his son ran the camp site and he was out at the moment... such a shame as the camp site looked quite nice, then the old guy told us the camp site was closed !...
The area was beautiful and the people were so nice ad pleasant
Small campsite. Clean but basic facilities. Currently showers, toilets and one wash basin are available. Building seems to have room for more, but not yet built. Makes for a pleasant stay.
Just had our second visit to Knight's Folly, this month. This is a lovely campsite, with lovely owners, who are so helpful and accomodating. Excellent shower and toilet block. A great location for access to the old railway track, plus there are lots of quiet public footpaths nearby too.
Had a lovely last minute trip here, only 8 miles from home. Facilities spotless, pitches level, there were even deer in the field behind us in the morning. Lovely....simply lovely.
